Restaurants

El Rubio is our favourite restaurant in Orihuela Costa, it has the most amazing views because it is set out into the sea giving it a 360 panoramic view. The food is great and the atmosphere/music is really good. Located in San Pedro del Pinatar about 25 minutes away..

Restaurante Punta Prima

This is also one of our favourite restaurants in Orihuela Costa, it is set overlooking the ocean and the food is really good. They serve burgers, steak, fish, salads and some traditional Spanish dishes such as Paella.

Rebate

Finca Rebate is one of the furthest restaurants we go to but it's also one of the best. It is up on a terrace with the tables set under trees and vines. It has a cute little chapel on site and there are loads of little birds waiting for bread. The food is very Spanish and they often have a Flamenco show in the middle of the restaurant.

Los Angeles

Another really great sea view restaurant that serves lovely Spanish cuisine. Only 20 minutes from Las Colinas. They hold quite a few events including New Years Eve parties.

Oasis Beach

Located on the closest beach to Las Colinas, Oasis Beach restaurant is one we have been to many times. The food is good, there is a promenade to walk on and a children's play park out the front.

King of Tandoori

This is the best Indian restaurant we have found so far. It's in Cabo Roig and the food is really good and great value.

Zenia Lounge

This is a small, cosy restaurant just across the road from La Zenia Boulevard (shopping mall). They have some great Poke Bowls, tapas and cocktails and there is evening entertainment at the weekends - open until 2am!

Heladería Galán

The best ice cream shop we have found with great views over the marina.

Bar Willy

We often come here for tapas because it is next to our favourite beach Playa del Conde and Heladeria Galán.

Beaches

There are loads of great beaches in Orihuela Costa, most of them have a chiringuito (small cafe) and the sand is good. Here are our favourites, all are 20 minutes away:

Playa del Conde - in Torre de la Horadada, this is a small beach, no chiringuito but close to Bar Willy and Heladaria Galán. The sand is the best I have seen in the area.

Playa la Zenia - in La Zenia, great sand, a chiringuito and restaurant La Mirada for some evening tapas or a drink overlooking the sea.

Playa Cala Capitán - between La Zenia and Cabo Roig about 20 minutes away

Playa la Caleta - in Cabo Roig, also 20 minutes away

Playa la Glea - in Campoamor next to Wow Beach
